Submission website : https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iswag2016

Conference language

The official language of the conference is English, which is also the language for the papers published in the proceedings.

Evaluation & Acceptance Processes

All papers have to be submitted through the electronic submission system “EasyChair”. Each submission will be subject to two referee reports under the responsability of two different members of the program committee. If needed, a third report will be done, under the supervision of the scientific committee.

Members of the program committee can submit papers to the conference. In this case, the reviewing process will be handled by the general chair and/or the members of the scientific committee.

There are 3 types of papers : regular papers, short papers and poster papers.

Submission Process Scientific submissions (scientific track)

All submissions must follow the following 2 columns template : iSWAGTemplate2016.

Regular papers present innovative methodological, technical or scientific results. These consist in a PDF of 6 pages maximum.

Papers due: January 13, 2016
Paper notifications: February 8, 2016

Short paper submissions must describe original and unpublished work. A short paper is typically a small, focused contribution, or a negative result, or a paper describing a dataset. The page limit for short papers is 4 pages.

Papers due: January 13, 2016
Paper notifications: February 8, 2016

Poster paper submissions describe work in progress or tools. The page limit for poster papers is 2 pages. These papers are presented as posters. The conference will provide for free the printing of posters so that authors will not have to carry them to the conference. Posters papers are reviewed “on-the-fly” and the number of slots is limited : papers will be reviewed as soon as they will be submitted.

No poster submission will be considered after April 17, 2016.

All deadlines are 11:59pm, anywhere in the world (Alofi time).

 Publication of proceedings

We think that there is no need for conferences to contract with publishing companies that prohibitively charge for their services. This is why the proceedings will be made available online through a (free access) dedicated platform. Attendees will be given an electronic copy of the proceedings (on a USB key provided by one of our sponsor). We also encourage authors to make their papers widely accessible (personal homepage, arxiv, etc.).
